At Steel Pan Trust our aim is to make learning pan a fun filled experience where participants learn and develop a musical skill. They also display high exuberance of confidence, teamwork and communication skills.
After a one-off workshop your ‘ensemble’ will have learnt new skills whilst building on team-spirit which is an integral part of music.
The Trust provides all equipment for workshops and can include African drumming and percussion. Groups can vary in sizes between 10 – 40 individuals. The workshop includes educational information about the history of steelpan music.
Our tutors are experienced working with disabilities and special needs groups across all ages.
We run regular community sessions as a FAMILY
