School-O-Rama is a steelband festival for primary & secondary school children to enjoy playing together.
The festival creates a unique opportunity for the many excellent school steelbands across England to perform their repertoire in front of other schools. We know the children are thrilled to perform with their friends and enjoy watching and learning from the other performers and enjoy the fun day out!
Originally designed by Kyron Akal in 2014 as ‘Classoama’ for school steelbands to emulate the annual Panorama competition held in Trinidad, In 2020 school bands can choose to compete or take part in a Blockorama to showcase their current favourite music repertoire.
Guidelines and more information for teachers will be available in the spring 2020 term or please contact us directly.
